The amazing beach at Bridlington's South Shore stretches from Bridlington Harbour to the Humber Estuary. The beach near the Holiday Village is DOG FRIENDLY. It is only in the Summer that dogs are not allowed on the beach near the Bridlington Town Centre. Click HERE for more info.
From Bridlington Harbour you can set out to sea on one of the many boat trips run from there. Most popular with families are the Pirate Ship trip or for a more sedate experience there is the Yorkshire Belle Cruiser, a one or two hour sail along the coast.

Lots of local places to get to by bike, the cycle into Bridlington is very easy and plenty of railings at the other end to chain your bike to. Going South you can cycle easily along the path to the Cow Shed Tea Room at Fraisthorpe.
The new East Riding Leisure Centre has swimming, a gym, and a climbing wall among other things. At busy times it's best to book in advance, which you can do online.
The chalet is two minutes by car from Bridlington Golf Club.
This area is very photogenic, beautiful landscapes and seascapes are all around. Popular with photographers are Flamborough Head and slightly further North is the RSPB Bird Sanctuary at Bempton Cliffs.
Sewerby Hall and Gardens is highly recommended for a day out. Just North of here is the already mentioned Bempton Cliffs. Their scenic chalk cliffs are also on display at Flamborough Head and the nearby North and South Landings which are well worth a visit.
